Advantura staff travelled to Bletchley Park in the UK to attend a celebration of breaking the Enigma machine 70 years ago. The Enigma was used by the German armed forces for secret messages. Advantura brought its Enigma, the only one of its type on display. We were fortunate to meet and have dinner with many of the surviving staff who were stationed at Bletchley Park.

News: Advantura Donates M-209 to Royal Holloway College
Advantura just (early 2010) donated a World War 2 M-209 Cryptographic machine to Royal Holloway College (part of the University of London). The M-209 is the most commonly used crypto machine by the US in WW2 and was also used in Korea. Every year Advantura donates at least 5% of its net profits to cryptographic museums and universities. (Trivia: Royal Holloway was where Sophie learned cryptography in the Da Vinci Code.)
