Our vehicles are fully equipped for a vanlife road trip.

They have a refrigerator, gas stoves, pans, cutting board, cutlery and everything you need to cook. On the page of each vehicle, you will find the full list.

All vans have a table and chairs.

You will be able to plug your smartphones (USB chargers) as well as your computer (220V)

All vehicles have an external shower (cold water)

Ziggy and Lenny have one bed while Vermut and Tomatina have two.

Being older vehicles, there are restrictions to circulate in Barcelona city.

These restrictions do not allow us to use the vehicles from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays (ZBE: Low Emission Zone where the circulation of the most polluting vehicles is restricted to protect the atmosphere, people's health and the environment).

There are no restrictions on weekends.

ZIGGY, LENNY: Those vehicles are made for 2 people.

VERMUT, TOMATINA: They are suitable for 3 adults maximum OR 2 adults and 2 kids. There are 2 beds.

The rental of any of our vans includes 150km/day with the possibility of going up to 200km/day (€10/day). It is not allowed to do more to preserve our beloved vehicles who need to be revised regularly. If you do overpass by a few kilometers, the extra cost is 0,4€/km. For weekend trips, we highly advice to travel nearby and visit beautiful Cataluña (Costa Brave, Delta del Ebre etc.) . For one week trip, you will be able to go a little further and we have roadtrip suggestions.

Yes indeed and we keep it affordable :) It costs 20€.

That corresponds to cleaning of the exterior of the vehicle.

For the interior, our guests should return the vehicle clean and organized the same way that we gave it at checkin.

We do not have yet an online booking system. Working on it :)

On our website you will see a button at the top that says "Book now".

It takes you to a form where you can indicate the dates that interest you and the van you want to book.

We will reply to your request by email and answer any question you might have. To officially lock the dates, we ask for a deposit of 40%. The rest gets paid at checkin.

For every booking, we ask for a 40% deposit to lock the dates. If you want to cancel the booking or change dates, here are our conditions :

If you do it more than 30 days before the checkin date, we will refund the full amount of the deposit.

If you do it between 15 and 30 days in advance we will refund 50% of the deposit.

If you cancel less than 15 days in advance we will not be able to refund the amount of the deposit.

Yes, for our Kombis the minimum age is 25 years old and for the Lada Niva the minimum age is 23 years old. Also keep in mind that if you are not from a european country, you will need the international driving permit.

The vehicles have 2 batteries :

- One for the motor. All fine there.

- One for the amenities : fridge, lights etc.

The latter is the one that you have to watch out for! Fully charged, you have roughly 48 hours autonomy for the lights, fridge etc. without moving.

Every two hours of driving, you get 1/2 day autonomy.

So our advice :

For a weekend, you will be fine as long as you drive every day.

For 4 days+ trips, we advice to go one night at camping and fully recharge there in the middle of the trip.

We ask for a minimum of 2 years of driving license to be able to book our vehicles.

At checkin, all drivers should bring their valid Spanish (class B) or international driving licenses and a valid identity document (DNI or Passport). All documents must be originals, we do not accept photocopies. Remember to have a credit card too for the security deposit. It is important that you check the limits of the card so that everything works well. We do not accept debit cards for the security deposit.

The card must be in the name of a person who is present at the delivery of the vehicle and who will have to bring a valid DNI or passport.

The checkin process is a little longer than for a normal vehicle. Count between 25 and 40 minutes.

We will explain you exhaustively how the vehicle works, its motor, the beds, the kitchen, the fridge etc. so that you are fully ready to enjoy your time with the van.

We will also check the interior and exterior of the van so that we all agree on the state of the car at departure.

We will verify your ID, driving licences before proceeding to the payment.

Finally, we will make you try the vehicle passing first gear and reverse gear.

After that, the adventure can begin!

You can chose to return the vehicle to our garage or we can pick it up for an extra fee. During checkout, we check the condition of the vehicle, inside and outside. If there was an incident or something missing, we will calculate the cost and deduce it from the deposit. If this is not possible on the spot, we withhold the deposit until we have been able to determine the cost of the damage.

The deposit and the conditions depend on the insurance you chose:

- €900 with ESSENTIAL coverage

- €600 with PROTECT coverage (€15/day)

- €100 with PROTECT PLUS coverage (€30/day)

Since there is a possibility of damage or loss of accessories, we take a guarantee in the form of a deposit (bank pre-authorization). However, you will be responsible for the vehicle.

If it is damaged in a way that is not covered by insurance (driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for example) you are responsible for the total damage caused.

The van should be returned in the same condition than at checkin : clean inside with all elements at the same place and with the fuel tank at the same level as on delivery. We do take care of cleaning the outside and for the bedsheets, you only have to take them out and leave them together at the back of the vehicle. If we have to clean the interior, that would be an extra 20€

You can park and sleep anywhere where parking is allowed, but you cannot camp anywhere that does not expressly allow it.

But what is camping and what is parking?

Parking is when that you park the vehicle and do not increase the space that you would use on the road i.e. not take out chairs or tables, awning or put on very loud music. Once you do one of these things it is considered camping.

This at least is the simple and valid answer everywhere.

What we advice if you do not go to a camping site, is to download apps such as park4night. They indicate cool and isolated spots where you can stay with a campervan.

You do not have to select the dates of the experience when you buy it or the vehicle. You can let that choice to the person receiving the voucher. We remind you that the vouchers of 2 or 4 days are not valid from July to August because the rental must be for at least 5 days during summer.

Yes, you can! A few things to know :

You will have to make sure that you carry it according to the regulations.

We cannot accept any responsibility for how you transport your pet in the van.

Pets are forbidden to go on the bed or seats. That is a NO-NO.

There is an extra fee of 30€.

We have a strict non-smoking policy in the van. Nor do we allow candles inside the vehicle, for security reasons. As for portable stoves, we recommend them to be used outside the vehicle to avoid possible damage inside the vehicle.

You have 3 options: The ESSENTIAL is the insurance automatically included if you do not contract another option. It is an all-risk insurance with a security deposit and franchise of €900 The PROTECT option is more complete.

It Includes 2 drivers (instead of 1) It is an all-risk insurance with security deposit of €600 with roadside assistance and covered windows and moons. Also here the deposit is equal to the franchise and would be €600. It has a cost of €15/day. PROTECT PLUS is the maximum coverage we offer. It is an all-risk insurance with a €100 security deposit, roadside assistance, windows and glass covered. Covered punctures. Includes 2 drivers. If you choose this insurance there will be a franchise of €100. It has a cost of €30/day.

Some of you will be doing checkin at 20.00 and have asked us the nearest places to stay for the first night. The best spots and campings are further away but here is a list of convenient places as they are not too far :

GOING SOUTH (Delta del Ebro, Siurana etc.)

Camping sites :

1. The closest (30 mins drive) : Camping Tres Estrellas The closest solution going South. The camping is near the beach. You can go to Barcelona by public transport and the spaces are of descent quality.

2. Nicely located (1h20 drive) : Tamarit Beach resort That camping is a real nice option. It is nearby a nice beach, a little castle and there are some nice hikes following the coast, including one going the the famous Cala Fonda (a.k.a Waikiki Beach)

Nature spots :

1. The closest (50 mins drive) : Olivella This spot has the advantage to have been well rated by numerous users of the app. It has 11 places so it is unlikely to be full and is an even ground which makes things easier for a first night. Hikes possible.

2. By the Beach (1h45 drive) : Ametlla de Mar As the coast is crowded by large beaches and cities going south, there are no many spots available to stay overnight near the beach. But the first one is a good one! Right by the beach, very well rated and in the middle of nature. That is the spot at 01:05 of our video

GOING NORTH (Costa Brava etc.)

Camping sites :

1. The closest (50 mins drive) : Camping Barcelona (Mataró) The closest solution going North. The camping has good ratings, directly on the beach and there is a shuttle bus to go to Barcelona.

2. Nicely located (1h40 drive) : Camping Cala Llevado (Tossa de Mar) That camping is nicely located. It is near a nice cala and close to Tossa de Mar with its beautiful and hikes.

1. Tiana - 30min - Parking Descampat Parc de les Bateries. A basic free parking spot with views to the sea, 30 minutes away and on your way to Costa Brava. You will be close to Tiana/ Montgat Beach and there is a nice bar nearby : Panoramic Bar Don't expect wonders It is just practical as a late night stop.

2. Arenys de Mar - 1h15 - That is our little secret. A quiet free parking place 20 meters from the beach with a great sunrise to enjoy :) You ill have to go through a small road that makes you wonder where you are going but trust the process and follow google :) Here is the link to the location

3. Good compromise (1h40) : Tossa de Mar This spot is quiet, easy access and flat, perfect to get used to the van. It is also close to Tossa de Mar for a morning near the beach and the castle

BONUS : El Airbnb del camping! HomecamperThis website lists land owners who rent their space for campervans. There are some cool places to choose from.

It is not possible, unfortunately. One of the options is to leave the car in a parking lot close by to 600m. Going through the website elparking is quite cheap. Second option is for a person to come by scooter/motorcycle and this scooter can stay in our garage and then pick up your bags at your house with the van. Third option is to request the home delivery service for an extra fee.

We do verify oil levels before any checkins so you should not have to worry about it.

This said, for those who take a longer trip (>4 days) It is always a good thing to check oil level on your way back. It is a pretty classic process :

- If oil level is below minimum, top it up until It reaches the max. How much should you ask. Put 0,5L

You will find oil in the van that is specific for this type of vehicle (20W50 synthetic oil)

Do not put any type of oil.

The difference between min and maximum is 0,75L. Putting too much is dangerous too so stick to 0,5L :)

Contrary to the VW Kombi, the Lada Niva is great to go on dirt roads and find great isolated spots in the middle of nature.

What you can not do is use it as a 4*4 offroading. FYI, All vehicles are tracked with GPS.

First, all our vehicles have an external shower. Additionally, you can rent us a shower tent for 10€. If you want a hot shower, you can warm up the water and put it in the shower tank.

If you would like other shower facilities, no problem! Here is a list of ideas :
