Our VW kombi campervans for rent in Barcelona

The three VW Kombis campervans are very similar to each other, being the T2 version from 1977 or 1978, hence they are all at the same price. But still, apart from the colour difference, here are some points worth taking into account to chose your vehicle.

 

Lenny is for max 2 people while Tomatina and Vermut can take 3 people. They have two beds. Tomatina has a slightly higher top of speed of 90km/h from his 2000cc enginen vs.  80km/h for the others. Vermut has a solar panel, handy if you are not going to drive a lot fo kilometers and not go to campsites.

Lenny is the vehicle who is often used for weddings, movies and photoshoots but has (for now) a simpler interior. I have not redone it yet.

Vermut has a heater, so It is the preferred van for winter. None of them have air conditioning but ventilators yes. Equipment wise, they all have thte same setup (external cold shower, gast stove ,chairs, table, kitchen ustensils etc...)

Vermut has original furniture from the 70s so It requires a bit more care on the interior to avoid scratches.

We are not forgetting Ziggy. First Ziggy is an economical offer. At 65 euros a day, that is hard to beat. You get a car a tent and all the necessary to roadtrip for 2 people in there. It is a rooftop tent which means It is more adequate for going to the mountain parcs and places with a lot of space rather than Costa Brava for example. Ziggy does not do 4*4 offroad. Sandy easy roads and easy dirt roads are fine. The bed is large! 150* 190 and that is nice for comfort.
